Came here for lunch with family. Manager took our order due to nut allergy. Chicken ramen, chicken and rice curry dish (can’t pronounce the name but it was amazing) and chicken katsu. We had a couple of juices and some miso soup also. Very relaxed and chilled. Good food and reasonable prices.

We were having the house decorated and didn’t want to cook. We headed to Waga which is a great shout for allergies. Manager takes the order and double checks. Also delivers food to avoid cross contamination. Happy to swap around. Chicken ramen, chicken salad, chicken katsu and baby noodles. Power juice for a boost.

Chicken Ramen

We headed here after school broke up for Christmas. Lots of others from school were there. I always feel happy here with nuts. They have a couple of managers and one is a bit smoother at delivering the messaging on behalf of the venue, whereas the other one slightly labours the ‘no guarantee’ point which gets a little tiresome. I get it! The food though was amazing with chicken ramen and chicken katsu curry. A real favourite - nice food and strong approach to allergen management.

I hadn't been here for ages but wanted a quick option. always feel happy with the approach. manager taking order and no nuts in the kitchen with head chef preparing. Had a great chicken noodles with ginger and chicken katsu for kids.

It was the last day before Easter break so we wanted something quick and reliable. We got in at 12:00 (good thing as it was really busy by 13:00). Great options and very reliable with nuts as they said they don’t use them in the kitchen. Manager took the order.

We’ve eaten at Wagamama a few times. Always really nice meal and safe experience. The only strange thing this time was that the person delivering the message regarding allergies wasn’t the smoothest and they probably made too much of the fact that they couldn’t guarantee. We know that but you don’t want to have it flagged too much and too hard. It got a bit uncomfortable. The food was great and the kids loved it but just don’t want restaurants to go too big on the we can’t guarantee message as it actually impacts the experience.

We have visited Wagamama many times and have always been impressed, this time we came in to place an order for collection and had at home, the service was fabulous as always, we told the server our allergies and the food was packaged with "nut/peanut allergy" labels, this was very reassuring. The food was packaged very well and everything was lovely and hot for when we got home.

When placing an allergy order this must be done in person, they cannot take allergy orders on the phone or online, the average wait time on a busy night was about 35 mins.

Chicken Raman

Had a brilliant experience this evening. Explained about allergens for us - tree nuts and fish and they were so switched on. We were served by Joel all evening who was great. We went through each order and he checked everything off. I was going to go for pad Thai but that had fish oil so I swapped for something else. My wife had a curry, my son had chicken with noodles and loved playing with the chopsticks and my daughter had a bowl of noodles when normally all she wants is bread and avocado. We even asked for a smoothie and were asked if it was for the kids or us. They went to make it specially to avoid any accidental contamination. I felt relaxed and that they were on it. A great experience. For sure going back.

Ramen noodles

We went here a couple of weeks ago. Despite not having any allergies ourselves we were very pleased to be greeted by a lovely member of staff who asked us if we had any allergies prior to being seated. This is such a relief for people with allergies who would be able to eat here safely. We also noted on their website where we looked prior to visiting at the menus there is options to filter on dishes that don’t contain certain items for ease and safety. Why should those with allergies miss out on the pleasures of eating meals out? Lovely food as always and very attentive, polite staff. Would recommend 100%.

We had a lovely family meal for my daughter's birthday, we were provided with an allergy menu, the manager came and took our order, and she also advised us which dishes were safe for us. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and we felt at ease the whole time, the food was delicious and lots of safe choices on the menu.
