My husband (who has the allergies) and I go here often - probably more often than our arteries would like! The burgers are always a delight, and we've never had any issues with avoiding allergens (except for one time when the waiter misheard "lupin" as "gluten" - thankfully he told us what the order was as he brought it to our table and we were able to send it back).

Menu Top Tips

Note that the gluten-free buns have a different set of allergens from non-gluten-free buns, so you may struggle to have a burger here if you're both coeliac and have a lupin and/or sesame and/or soy allergy.

Venue Top Tips

It's a lovely place in the town centre to just walk into for a casual meal. There are steps leading up to the dining area.

Try the local Reading burger, medium-rare!

Honest Burgers serve coeliac safe burgers, all reasonably priced with lots of flavour and large portions! The fries and onion rings are also safe for coeliacs, making it one of my favourite places to eat for a fast food style option. The food itself is delicious and I was so impressed at how easily they can cater for gluten free, but more specifically coeliac disease. I felt very safe eating here!
