My daughter has an egg and dairy allergy and this is always our cafe of choice as I know there will be delicious food (particularly cake) available for her! Everything is clearly labelled, the staff are happy to clarify anything for you and explain how they will reduce cross contamination. I always feel super safe when eating there and everything we’ve had has been amazing!

Mocha cake- absolute heaven. The carrot cake and chocolate brownies are also divine.

We required wheat/gluten free and dairy free food for a light lunch. We ordered a GF chicken sandwich with a side of crisps, and a chocolate brownie. From point of ordering to point of receiving the meal, we were totally reassured that every possible step would be taken to avoid cross contamination, without us having to ask the usual questions. The assistant explained how they cleaned down prior to prepping the food, how the food is stored separately and that she would personally deal with the order and that all items are specially selected to be free of the ingredients we communicated to her. She also seemed very happy to go to so much trouble... which is often not the case! It reassured us more, that she had personal experience herself of allergies in her immediate family. The menu was clearly labelled, with all alternatives clearly stated, and priced. Then once we'd eaten, the owner herself came to check all was ok. It really was! I would have no hesitation recommending Abda's to anyone with any type of allergy, intolerance, coeliac, or vegan. They also make amazing specialist celebration cakes to order as well!
