Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall - Nottingham

The theatre does not sell nuts on site. Although they can't always stop people eating nuts they have a plan in place. If you contact them in advance they request people not to eat nuts. If this isn't followed or good enough for your needs they will happily discuss with you other options. They hold back spare seats and supported a move for me and my family to safe area after I couldn't see who was eating nuts but could smell them. We had an amazing time and the kids loved the new alternative seats. They also have actors with severe nut allergies and really come down on the audience not to eat nuts but I didn't know this before my visit so I  hadn't told them until the interval. The manager was so knowledgeable and caring about allergies and also clearly had worked a lot with his staff, it was a real pleasure to feel able to have a conversation with them.
