  • Manager Takes Order - Just Note New Recipe

    We told the Manager about our peanut and tree nut allergies when we were seated and know at Nando's that the Manager will prepare your order. My husband ordered at the counter and thought he'd try the Rainbow Slaw as it sounded nice. Supposed to have a crunchy seed topping, he checked what it was. The Manager showed him a Tupperware style tub of topping, which looked like seeds and chopped nuts. Due to this, he decided against the dish. He isn't the one with the allergy but we avoid the allergens for our child's safety. We spoke to a friend who is manager at another Nando's in Wigan (go there - he's great!) and the recipe for the crunchy topping on the Rainbow Slaw had been changed only days earlier and now DOES include nuts. So just be aware and ask to check their allergen menu on their tablet to be sure. We did enjoy our meal, wings, corn on the cob, tomatoes, Fino Pitta and Sunset Burger with fries were all very tasty.
