Makars Mash Bar - Edinburgh

We visited with our friends and our 3 year old who has severe allergies. They where made aware and offered me choices of food options. They triple checked all food items as well as making up our own gravy, which we brought along with us! They secretly checked the puddings, bringing it out and showing me the ingredients before we made my son aware they had anything available. All was fine and he could have the sorbet but they understood he would be upset if he got offered something and then refused as it had his allergens in. Overall very accommodating!

All the puddings where gluten free!! A lot of the main menu had gluten free options! There is a vegan mash which was so tasty!!

Vegan mash was dairy free and so tasty!

Great place to eat in Edinburgh and they have a nut free kitchen too. Staff are well versed in allergies and made me feel very at ease. Would definitely recommend!
