Incorrect allergen information - defensive attitude

After checking the item in the cake cabinet did not have nuts in it according to the POS card, I double checked with the server, who confirmed it did not. However, walnuts was actually one of the main ingredients (White chocolate and raspberry tiffin) (due to its light colour they were not immediately identifiable). Luckily I only ate a small bite before I noticed, so did not suffer a severe allergic reaction. Their response was defensive, dissappointing, and insincerely apologetic, and after further investigation, it was not the manufacturers fault providing incorrect information as they claimed, it does appear to be their fault, labeling the item and providing verbal information incorrectly.

- The coffee wasn't awful. Hard to enjoy after this experience though.
