We visited Smiths as a family, including my daughter who has a severe peanut allergy. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I had mentioned the allergy when I booked and the staff referred to this on arrival and double checked our requirements. The food was great and we would visit again when back in the area.

The burgers are great and I had the nicest milkshake I had drunk in a long time.

    Venue Top Tips

As with any other venue mention the allergy when you book.

My son ate safely here and I was very pleased by the care given by the staff. Prior to sitting down, I mentioned my son’s allergies and they went back to the chef to discuss. They made me aware of all the sesame in the restaurant and I asked about cooking in a pan. They let me know they have vegan buns, but I brought my own. Once his food came out ( a bun less burger) the server explained how they cleaned to make sure my son was safe. We opted to not do fries as they weren’t confident that the oil was safe. We were thrilled with the care given and my son ate safely!

    Menu Top Tips

They were willing to leave things off menu items as needed. It’s a burger place so most of the items are burgers but they have sides such as Mac and cheese.

    Venue Top Tips

We made sure not to come during rush and went mid afternoon. I know that bread is usually not safe but brought our own.
