Cafe Cloud - Newquay

They prep all gluten free in a smaller room and were extremely clued on cross contact. Word of warning - it's a rather small cafe so can get very busy! We were lucky that a lady was just about to leave so we managed to sit down. They do offer take away too but as we weren't staying near Newquay and it was raining a take away didn't appeal! They have extensive gluten, dairy and vegan options! Pretty much all the cakes on offer were gluten free with a few also being dairy free or vegan! Waffles and sandwiches were also on offer but I was excited for a scone! Wow! They're huge, had the perfect texture AND it didn't fall apart the moment I cut it in half! The vegan clotted cream was a coconut base with icing sugar I believe which was actually rather nice! When we visited, a number of people who had come in were all gluten free so we all had a little chat about how amazing it was! I was recommended you could take some home frozen but we still had quite a few days left sadly or I'd have totally bought some! This truly has to be added to your next Cornwall trip! Amazing!!!

What a fantastic place for coeliacs! They have a separate kitchen to make gluten-free food which includes cream teas, pasties, waffles and cakes. They're really clued up on allergy info but renowned for their gluten-free fayre. The scones were so good I couldn't believe that were gluten-free!
