Aloha Ices - Sheringham

This ice cream shop would be way up there even without an allergy as the choice and quality is exceptional. My jaw literally dropped when I saw that they have a SEPARATE freezer (you read that right) for dairy free ice cream and sorbet, with about six flavours to choose from, and separate utensils so that there can be no cross contact. I spoke to the owner who told me she had her friend’s child with a dairy allergy in mind when setting up the store and it really shows. As the parent of an anaphylactic child this was just the most amazing experience of anywhere I’ve visited.

Specify allergy when talking to the server. The dairy free selection was in the right hand freezer when we visited.

Venue Top Tips

Down near the end of the high street on the left (if approaching the seafront) with an open shop front. Lots of places advertising dairy free to confuse you so don’t be fooled as not all will take allergies as seriously.
